Three Leagues this Year!

I am now involved in three fantasy leagues this year. Really 2 1/2 because one I am just helping Jonny Mack for his work pool. But i am a 25% investor with 50% profit if we make anything... so thats good. Had that draft yesterday, Tuesday August 26th.

So the three leagues are:
1) My ESPN Keeper League (I am commish) - this will be the third year.
2) My Yahoo! Keeper League - this will be the fourth year.
3) My semi-CBS Sportsline Keeper League - first timer there.

Draft for ESPN is Thursday August 28th and the Yahoo is Sept 1 which is totally convenient for drunk BBQ labor day, but i digress.

Really I would like to win 1 and 3, 2 is kinda a joke... but if i beat my girlfriend for the second year (don't think i am being cocky, i won by ONE pick out of the entire span of an NFL season) i will be happy :)

Thats all for now. When I have all my rosters I will be posting those, plus outlooks on the season.

this is not so much a fantasy update as it is a general vicklantasy update.

excellent drafts going around the league this year, i think its really dispersed deep talent across the board. obviously there are some winners and losers, but i think my boyz and my squad did well.

i guess the first thing is, vicklantasy doesnt exactly work anymore. i mean, with matt ryan on the new depth chart of no-names, mike vick is clearly in the doghouse, oh no he didnt, and our future is going to rely on the arms of a soft acc qb who somehow rose above the true champion qb of this draft.

which brings us to brian brohm, who 'fell' to the GB packers, who as far as i am concerned deserve such an excellent talent. good luck keepin your job rodgers.

the falcons had a decent draft overall, and i guess i can get over the no more mike vick thing. the best thing i saw was them drafting ANOTHER louisville product by the name of harry douglas. woulda been tight to see those spirals get long to this guy, but we'll see. harry douglas to me is a small steve smith. now i know thats insane to say of a rookie, but i watched him all through his UofL record breaker seasons, and he was unreal catching on routes, escaping defenders to get open, and turning on the jets to burn away from all chasers. truly an excellent receiver, so glad to see him in the ATL red and black.

ok peace out, go adrian peterson for fantasy, and go falcons to win the NFC south as history tells us they will.

Well readers and bs mufuckas alike. This is my update for my Fantasy Football 07-08 season. In my ESPN Keeper league i made a sick sick trade very early on. Adrian Peterson for Reggie Bush. I saw Adrian Peterson roll through the big 12, knew that Minnesota abused their running backs, and almost guaranteed he would start. 17 weeks later and a ton of crazy NFL, i won my fantasy league.

In my Yahoo! keeper league, i came in dead last.

To sum it up, i am still awesome. I won Fantasy!

Welcome Back for the 2007-2008 Fantasy Season

This will be an ongoing fantasy football blog. As past readers (three of you), you know that i have dropped off on the posting halfway through most of my fantasy seasons. This year i will once again attempt to post efficiently and constantly, even perhaps in the offseason. You might also remember i am involved in 2 leagues, both of them Keeper Leagues. They each have different keeper rules, but in general you get to keep 3 people from the year before and then the draft begins at round #4. One of the leagues will be called "Yahoo League" and one is "ESPN League".

Last night, 8/28/2007, was the draft for both fantasy leagues (concurrently). I dont know how this happened, but it sucked drafting two teams at the same exact time. Hope it works out better than years past. Without further ado, here are my starting rosters:
